Little Hampton Farm began as a dream — one shaped by curiosity, courage, and a longing for a life lived closer to the land. In 2012, we (Simon and Narelle) found a quiet patch of earth in Little Hampton that felt instantly alive with possibility. The red volcanic soil, the open sky, the stillness — it all invited us in.
Simon, a country boy from a Northern NSW cattle farm, felt right at home. For me, a Melbourne city girl, it meant trading heels for gumboots and stepping into a life guided by seasons rather than schedules. What followed was a journey filled with grit, joy, and more than a few challenges. We planted fruit trees and berries through winter frost, moved a house from Melbourne, and spent five years lovingly renovating it – every step slow, intentional, and deeply rewarding.
Today, our farm is a living expression of that journey. We produce cherries, blueberries and strawberries – tend a thriving market garden, herb garden, and free‑flowing cut‑flower patch. Everything is grown seasonally, without pesticides, and with a deep respect for the land.
At its heart, Little Hampton Farm is about connection to nature, simplicity and each other. Whether you’re staying in The Couples Retreat, visiting the farm gate for seasonal produce, or simply wanting to experience the quiet rhythm of farm life, we welcome you with open arms. Little Hampton Farm has become a place to soften, to slow, and to feel the gentle pull of the natural world. This is your soul’s retreat.
Little Hampton Farm is more than just a place to visit – we would love our guests to create special memories, whether staying or simply dropping by, and to become the place for life’s special occasions. Our Couples Retreat has been designed as a bespoke farm stay that goes beyond the traditional hotel experience – it’s your home away from home, complete with thoughtful touches like in-house massages and private yoga sessions.
We want every stay to be meaningful, not only for our guests but for the community around us. Through local school programs and educational visits, we connect with the next generation to share the importance of sustainable farming, biodiversity, and mindful living. These experiences encourage students to understand how small farms work with nature and climate to produce healthy, seasonal food — and to value the deep connection between land, food, and people.
Our goal is to provide more than accommodation — we’re curating an experience that captures the charm of farm life and the beauty of living in balance with nature.
